Zoe in the napkin cupboard, mesmerized by a blade of wheat grass. Lisa, Paul and I took care of our neighbor's cat when they went away for 2 weeks. Yes, it took 3 of us. Paul gave Zoe her insulin shots and I fed her and wooed her by combing her fur with a fine tooth comb. She loved it. Lisa's approach was to hypnotize her by moving a blade of grass in front of her. Both approaches worked very well, and we alienated her affections... temporarily. She abandoned us when they got home.

This video is disturbing because the cat keeps putting the paper bag on his head and then realizing that he can't see with it on, struggles to get it off. Then he forgets the downside because a paper bag is so enticing and he puts his head in it again. It's a lot like what people do... over and over never learning a thing.

 

These two pals, they've been rehashing the same event for years. They don't even use full sentences. They just keep up a steady murmur. "Remember those sardines in anchovy sauce?" "Remember? How could I forget? Your eyes were flashing that night, just as they're flashing now."
